3M™ Conductive Tin Plated Copper Foil Tape 33316 is a tinned, copper foil backed tape with an aggressive, electrically conductive acrylic adhesive. This tape features an extremely malleable, zero temper, high tensile copper foil which is clad with tin on both sides for excellent corrosion resistance. The tape is suitable for industrial and electrical applications including EMI/RFI shielding.
An Electrically Conductive Tinned Copper Tape for a Broad Range of Applications
3M™ Conductive Tin Plated Copper Foil Tape 33316 features a 1.5 mil copper foil backing which is plated on both sides with tin – which offers a combination of electrical conductivity and excellent resistance to corrosion. The electrolytic grade, zero temper, high-tensile copper is extremely malleable and the corrosion-resistant tin plating accepts solder, making it suitable for a very broad range of industrial and electrical applications. The 1.5 mil electrically conductive, pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive is very aggressive and delivers excellent adhesion and wet-out even on textured and low surface energy substrates. This combination of materials is ideal for EMI/RFI shielding and static discharge applications including printed circuit board manufacture and repair. A release liner provides easy release and makes for efficient processing.

3M™ Conductive Tin Plated Copper Foil Tape 33316 is coated with a pressure sensitive, conductive acrylic adhesive designed to bond to a broad range of substrates including low surface energy substrates. This tape adheres immediately upon contact and can perform under a wide spectrum of temperatures ranging from -40°F/-40°C to 250°F/121°C. 3M™ Conductive Tin Plated Copper Foil Tape 33316 is UL 510 Recognized.
