3M™ Venture Tape™ Conductive Copper Foil Tape 1697 is a copper foil backed tape with an electrically conductive acrylic adhesive which is pressure sensitive yet very aggressive. It features zero temper, high tensile copper foil which is extremely malleable for a range of industrial and electrical applications including EMI/RFI shielding, flexible flat conductors, printed circuit boards and more.
An Electrically Conductive Copper Tape for a Broad Range of Applications
3M™ Venture Tape™ Conductive Copper Foil Tape 1697 features a 1.4 mil copper foil backing and an electrically conductive, pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive. The backing is electrolytic grade, high tensile copper which is extremely malleable and accepts solder, making it suitable for a very broad range of industrial and electrical applications. The adhesive is very aggressive and delivers excellent adhesion and wet-out even on textured and low surface energy substrates. This combination of materials is ideal for EMI/RFI shielding and static discharge applications including printed circuit board manufacture and repair. A 70-lb. glassine paper liner provides easy release and makes for efficient processing.

3M™ Venture Tape™ Conductive Copper Foil Tape 1697 is coated with a pressure sensitive, conductive acrylic adhesive designed to bond to a broad range of substrates including low surface energy substrates. This tape adheres immediately upon contact and can perform under a wide spectrum of temperatures ranging from 0°F/-18°C to 225°F/107°C. 3M™ Venture Tape™ Conductive Copper Foil Tape 1697 is UL 510 Recognized.
