We developed the Zeta Plus™ Encapsulated System Filter Capsule with SP Series Media in the quest for a single-use depth filtration solution that combines a number of ergonomic advantages with the proven performance of our depth filter media.

The Zeta Plus™ Encapsulated System retains the lenticular filter design and vertical flow path that are characteristics of traditional depth filtration systems, helping ensure consistent performance from bench scale to production scale. The scale-up filter capsules with 170 cm² LA series media are designed for intermediate scale-up studies and lab scale protein production.

This product is made by moulding activated carbon into a cartridge type that is easy to handle. It combines two types of activated carbon with different characteristics: fibrous activated carbon with high adsorption speed and granular activated carbon with large specific surface area, which provides excellent flow, adsorption capacity, and service life.
